The 6 Stones Community Powered Revitalization (CPR) Fall Blitz, held on October 16-17, united neighbors, volunteers, businesses, churches, and community partners with the cities of Euless, Hurst, and Grapevine to provide exterior home repairs for homeowners facing financial or physical barriers. The event underscores the importance of coordinated community action in addressing essential home maintenance that might otherwise be unaffordable or physically demanding for residents.
CPR connects homeowners in need with volunteers, skilled professionals, and resources to tackle exterior repairs. By bringing together local partners around practical work, the program helps preserve homes and strengthen neighborhoods. Maintaining a home can become difficult when repair costs or physical demands exceed a homeowner's resources, and CPR creates a pathway to address that work through volunteer service, professional expertise, and sponsorship. The initiative also offers neighbors an opportunity to build relationships and take part in caring for the places they call home.
The Fall Blitz was a community effort from preparation to the final project. 6 Stones thanked every volunteer who contributed time and care, along with the sponsors and partners whose participation made the event possible. The organization also recognized participating homeowners as partners in the shared work. Sponsors and partners included 121 Community Church; 323 Capital; Aprende Business Coaching; Atmos Energy; Bank of America; Bell; Bloomfield Homes; Central Bible Church; City of Euless; City of Hurst; City of Grapevine; Classic Chevrolet; Dalworth Restoration; DFW Plastics, Inc.; First Hurst; Freedom Church; HEB Rotary; Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School District; Integris; Joe Hall Roofing; KBKG; Republic Services; Republic Tire & Supply; RS Americas; Smith Lawn and Tree; Star Wellness; Stately Designs; Sunbelt Rentals; The Home Depot Foundation; and the cities of Bedford, Euless, and Grapevine. Food sponsors helped keep volunteers fueled throughout the event, including Al Hessling HOA Group; Alley Cats; Bohemian Bull Grapevine; Chick-fil-A Heritage Towne Crossing; Compassion for Kids; Cross City Church; Dave & Buster's Euless; i Fratelli Pizza; Jersey Mike's Hurst; Market Street Colleyville; and Soulman's Bar-B-Que.
Together, these contributions supported the coordination, resources, and service behind the Fall Blitz. The impact of such collaborative efforts extends beyond immediate repairs, fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility for neighborhood well-being. 6 Stones looks forward to welcoming volunteers and partners back for the CPR Spring Blitz on April 17-18, with dates and registration information to be shared as they become available. Service continues between Blitz events, with ongoing CPR projects offering additional opportunities to participate.
