The 9th annual LATINAFest, the largest outdoor festival celebrating Latinas in the United States, will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Jesse Brewer Park in Exposition Park. This year’s theme, “UNSTOPPABLE,” underscores the remarkable growth and economic power of Latinas, who represent over 22.2 million women and constitute 17% of all adult women in the U.S. as of 2024, making them the fastest-growing major female ethnic group in the country.
According to festival co-founder Bel Hernandez Castillo, “Latinas are not a trend—we are the future of growth. Marketing to Latinas should not be considered a DEI initiative by corporations, it is a strategy that is good for business.” The festival emphasizes that culture is a form of currency, showcasing the entrepreneurial spirit of Latinas who are starting businesses at faster rates than any other demographic group, as reported by Forbes.
The event will feature over 100 exhibitors and vendors, a keynote address by celebrity event planner Loriann Serna of Wife of the Party, and an opening ceremony by choreographer Stephanie Stevens, known for her work in Bad Bunny’s halftime show. An author’s panel will include award-winning novelist Reyna Grande, presenting her latest work Migrant Heart, and Julissa Arce, author of My (Underground) American Dream. A panel titled “Breaking the Silence” will address untold stories within the community.
Additional programming includes live selling experiences powered by Viva Shop, morning Mayan yoga and wellness activities with sound baths and “limpia” rituals, art installations, musical performances, tequila and mezcal tastings, salsa dance lessons, and a full day of shopping, food, and cultural experiences for families. The festival also offers sponsorship opportunities for brands seeking to connect with this influential consumer group.
LATINAFest anticipates growth from its 2025 attendance of over 4,000 guests, supported by sponsors such as Angel City FC, Square, AARP, El Clasificado, LATINATION, Hispanic Coalition of Small Businesses, NAFTA Distributors, Empowered With Gina, Rancho La Gloria, Amigas on Tour, Sazon Grip, and Melrose Bouquets. Community partners include NLBWA-LA and other organizations dedicated to empowering Latina entrepreneurs.
Leading up to the main event, two precursor activities are planned: Taste of LATINAFest on May 16, 2026, in partnership with METRO, and the LATINAFest 5K Fun Run on May 30, 2026, sponsored by Angel City FC. These events build momentum and offer additional opportunities for community engagement.
