Allen & Allen Appoints Genoveva Border as Director of Spanish Services and Claims Consultant

Allen & Allen, a Virginia-based personal injury law firm, announced the appointment of Genoveva Border as Director of Spanish Services and Claims Consultant in its Richmond office. Border brings over 14 years of experience serving Virginia's Latino community and will oversee the development of the firm's Spanish-language services while assisting clients with claims consulting and case support.

In her new role, Border will work to enhance communication and access to legal resources for Spanish-speaking individuals and families throughout the state. Her addition reflects the firm's ongoing commitment to improving accessibility for clients navigating personal injury claims, including those related to motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and other matters.

Border's legal career began in Ecuador, where she worked with the country's Court of Appeals. She later earned a Master's degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham and a second law degree from The College of Law in Birmingham, England. After qualifying as an attorney in the U.K., she practiced corporate tax law before transitioning to personal injury law. She relocated to Virginia in 2011 and shifted her focus to personal injury, working extensively with Spanish-speaking clients across the state.

"In personal injury law, I can support my clients experiencing traumatic situations by taking care of the legal aspects of their cases so that they can focus on healing," Border said.

Allen & Allen representatives noted that Border's multilingual background will help the firm better communicate with clients who face language barriers. She will collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure Spanish-speaking clients receive clear explanations about the legal process, case developments, insurance matters, and available options.

The demand for language-accessible legal services has grown alongside Virginia's expanding Spanish-speaking population. Allen & Allen has continued to expand its multilingual offerings to improve access to information and representation for injury victims. The firm, founded in 1910, maintains offices in Richmond, Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Chesterfield, Stafford, Petersburg, and Mechanicsville, handling a broad range of personal injury cases.

Border's appointment aligns with Allen & Allen's mission of providing guidance and advocacy for individuals and families following serious injuries. For more information about the firm's services, visit Allen & Allen's website.
