Anchorbase Raises $2M to Automate Back-Office Workflows for Mid-Market Businesses

Anchorbase, a payments and automation platform for mid-market businesses, has raised $2 million USD in a pre-seed funding round led by Cambrian VC and TTV Capital. The company aims to use the capital to enhance its AI-powered platform that streamlines back-office operations such as payment collection, reconciliation, and reporting without requiring businesses to switch from their existing software.

Anchorbase allows businesses to initiate payments directly within their current systems—including DMS, CRM, accounting software, and operational tools—collect funds via terminals or payment links, and automatically reconcile payments to the correct invoices. The platform then triggers the next workflow step, eliminating the need to toggle between disconnected applications. This integration reduces manual data entry and errors, freeing up staff to focus on higher-value tasks.

The funding round, supported by Cambrian VC and TTV Capital, will be deployed toward continued product development, deeper integrations with systems of record, expanded customer support, and go-to-market growth across North America. By automating repetitive back-office workflows, Anchorbase addresses a critical pain point for mid-market firms that often lack the resources for major system migrations but still need efficiency improvements.
