Aquinas Senior Living, Inc. has expanded its deployment of Teton's proactive care platform across its Pennsylvania portfolio, achieving a 99.8% resident and family adoption rate following a successful pilot at Heritage Springs Memory Care. The expansion includes Wynwood House communities in State College and Centre County, with the system going live at the Wynwood House State College location on April 1, 2026, and at Wynwood House Nittany Valley on April 8, 2026. Only one family across the entire rollout opted out.
Teton's AI technology uses passive optical sensors installed in resident rooms, requiring no wearables, manual calibration, or resident interaction. The system processes movement data locally and does not stream live video or capture audio, ensuring privacy while providing care teams with safety signals and anonymized clips when needed. The platform is HIPAA compliant and SOC 2 certified. According to Teton's own research, an analysis of more than 2,000 falls across four countries found that measurable signals such as night-time movement patterns, sleep disruption, and changes in respiration consistently precede falls by hours or days, enabling early intervention.
As part of this expansion, one of Aquinas's Pennsylvania facilities is serving as the official Beta test site for the integrated E-call resident call system. This technology combines traditional resident assistance requests with Teton's fall detection into a single dashboard, reducing alarm fatigue and allowing staff to prioritize critical needs in real time. The integration marks a move away from disparate point solutions toward a unified ecosystem, according to Jim Burnham, Chief Operating Officer of Aquinas Senior Living.
The deployment accelerates through spring 2026, with the Teton platform scheduled for adoption at the Lewisburg community in May 2026. Stephen J.
