AUTODOC, Europe's leading online retailer of automotive spare parts and accessories, has successfully placed a EUR 530 million Term Loan B, marking its first entry into institutional debt markets. The transaction, announced on July 16, 2026, also includes a EUR 50 million Revolving Credit Facility (RCF), bringing the total financing package to EUR 580 million. The Term Loan B carries an interest rate of EURIBOR +3.50% and has a tenor of seven years, while the RCF has a tenor of 6.5 years with an interest rate of EURIBOR +3.00%. The debt issuance has been rated Ba3 with stable outlook by Moody's and B+ with positive outlook by S&P.
In connection with the transaction, Autodoc Holding SE has been established as the Group's new parent company, with all shares held by AutoTech GmbH & Co. KG, the investment entity of AUTODOC's founders Alexej Erdle, Max Wegner, and Vitalij Kungel. Proceeds from the Term Loan B will be used to repurchase shares held by entities owned or controlled by Apollo-managed funds in Autodoc SE and to pay related fees and expenses.
CEO Dmitri Zadorojnii described the transaction as a defining moment for AUTODOC, stating that it sharpens the company's identity and operations. By securing public debt supported by a wide range of institutional investors, AUTODOC is positioning itself for continued growth and future capital markets activities. CFO Lennart Schmidt highlighted that the company's net debt-free balance sheet provided a unique opportunity to introduce this financing framework, which promotes long-term financial flexibility and accelerates shareholder returns without equity dilution. He also noted that the transaction gives AUTODOC a track record with institutional investors and strengthens its optionality for a potential IPO, with timing dependent on market conditions.
The streamlined corporate structure supports AUTODOC's long-term vision of becoming Europe's leading automotive aftermarket tech ecosystem, combining advanced AI capabilities, data-driven decision-making, and an enhanced digital experience for customers and professional partners. Founded in Berlin in 2008, AUTODOC has grown to employ over 5,500 people across 13 locations and generated sales revenue of EUR 1.8 billion in 2025. The company offers around 7.8 million SKUs from approximately 2,700 brand manufacturers, serving customers in 27 European countries.
