BZBGEAR to Demonstrate End-to-End Fiber Broadcast Chain at IBC2026

At IBC2026, BZBGEAR will present a complete camera-to-fiber broadcast chain, integrating four key stages of live production into a single working system. The demonstration, taking place at Hall 11, Stand 11.A26, aims to show broadcasters how they can address acquisition, production, encoding, and transport challenges with a unified approach rather than assembling disparate components.

The acquisition stage features BZBGEAR's award-winning ADAMO PTZ cameras in NDI|HX 3 and Dante AV-H versions. The BG-ADAMO-4KND and BG-ADAMO-4KDA output up to 4K@60Hz over HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI, with AI-powered auto-tracking in Presenter and Zone modes, integrated tally lights, and onboard microSD recording up to 1 TB. The BG-ADAMO-JRND and BG-ADAMO-JRDA offer similar control and single-cable install at 1080p@60Hz, with various optical zoom options. This combination allows for a 4K hero angle alongside HD coverage, all controlled from a single surface.

Production is handled by the BG-Commander-UltraX, an all-in-one 4K production switcher and PTZ joystick controller with onboard recording. It features four HDMI inputs, a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4D joystick, a T-bar, and built-in chroma key, picture-in-picture, and logo overlay. A USB-C webcam output enables direct streaming to conferencing platforms, and recording is done via USB or SD card without a PC. Camera control is over ONVIF 2.8 and VISCA over IP.

The encoding stage is managed by the BG-STREAM-DE, a one-channel SDI/HDMI encoder, decoder, and recorder. It supports H.265/H.264 encoding up to 1080p@60Hz and output up to 3840x2160p@60Hz, with SDI and HDMI loop-through. Transport options include SRT, RTMP, HLS, and RTSP, with NDI and Dante AV-H available under license. Audio embed/de-embed and USB 3.0 recording to MP4, TS, or MOV provide a safety copy.

Transport is handled by the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-F, a point-to-point transmitter and receiver pair that carries 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 with DSC 1.2a, uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, and visually lossless 4K@144Hz 4:4:4 over single-mode fiber up to 10 kilometers at zero-frame latency. It offers 48Gbps video bandwidth, HDCP 2.3, and passes RS-232, IR, CEC, 1G Ethernet, and USB 3.1 Gen1/Gen2 KVM over the same fiber, eliminating ground loops and EMI.
