Canadian Salsa Festivals Project Announces Expanded 2026 Season Including Inaugural Niagara Falls Event

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its most ambitious season yet, with a series of events running from June through September 2026, including a first-time expansion to Niagara Falls. The lineup features five major festivals and several community programs, reflecting the organization's commitment to showcasing Latin music, dance, and culture nationwide.

New for 2026 is 'Salsa at Niagara Falls,' scheduled for September 12 and 13 at one of Canada's most iconic tourism destinations. The event is produced in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, highlighted the event's significance: 'Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for… we know its energy will ripple through our community and activate Niagara Falls collectively.'

CSFP also announced expanded support from longtime sponsor TD Bank Group, which has increased its title sponsorship to include Salsa Tremblant in Quebec's Laurentians region, while renewing as title sponsor of Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager of Philanthropy at TD Bank Group, noted, 'Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art. We're proud to support access to cultural experiences that help people feel welcome, seen and connected.'

Returning festivals include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain (June 26–28), which kicks off the summer season with Latin energy in the Blue Mountain Village. Patti Kendall, President of the Blue Mountain Village Association, emphasized the economic impact: 'Salsa at Blue is a highly anticipated event… drives meaningful economic activity at Blue and throughout the region.'

TD Salsa on St. Clair (July 11–12), Canada's largest free Latin-themed street festival, returns to Toronto's Hillcrest Village with over 350 live performers, weekend headliners including JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and award-winning Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell, the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada, and more than 35 authentic Latin food vendors representing 15+ countries. Free dance lessons will be offered across Southern Ontario from May to August.

TD Salsa Tremblant (August 21–23) returns for its third year, transforming the Tremblant Pedestrian Village into a hub of Latin life. Nicolas Dien, Event Director of the Tremblant Resort Association, stated, 'This event perfectly embodies Tremblant's DNA — a vibrant, welcoming destination where music, dance, and nature come together.'

Returning program favorites include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition (June 6 – July 12) at Toronto's Little EGG Gallery, featuring emerging Latino artists under 18; Salsa on Market Street (August 9) in Toronto's historic Old Town; and Family Salsa Dance Lessons at Toronto Museums (August – October).

The Salsa Festival series is founded by TLN Media Group and produced by CSFP, a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization. Aldo Di Felice, President of TLN Media Group, remarked on the festival's evolution: 'Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada's premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year while showcasing the power of music, culture, and community to create meaningful social and economic impact across Ontario and beyond.'
