CHORD Real Estate has announced the third annual Invest Panama Summit, scheduled to take place from January 14 to January 17, 2027, in Panama City, Panama. Registration is now open at chordrealestate.com/investpanamasummit. The four-day guided experience is designed to bring prospective buyers and investors directly to Panama's real estate market, offering an immersive look at properties, development zones, and key players.
The second annual summit, held in May 2026, attracted twelve participants from across North America. The upcoming edition is expected to draw a larger group, reflecting growing interest in Panama as a destination for residential and investment properties. The program is structured to provide a comprehensive overview of the market, with a focus on practical, on-the-ground insights that remote research cannot replicate.
The summit opens Thursday evening with a welcome reception, allowing attendees to meet the group and connect with CHORD's principals before the property tours begin. Friday and Saturday are dedicated to visits across Panama City's primary development zones, including established urban districts, waterfront communities, and master-planned residential projects. Saturday extends the tour to Panama's Pacific coast, including the Chame District and Playa Caracol, where major resort and residential brands are currently under construction. Sunday is reserved for leisure time in the city ahead of departure.
Participants meet directly with developers, walk active construction sites, and tour the areas and projects they have been researching remotely. Feedback from previous summits has been consistent: attendees describe the on-the-ground experience as categorically different from anything research alone produces, with several entering negotiations on properties during the summit itself. This hands-on approach is central to the summit's value proposition.
“Every market has its nuances,” said Steve Luther, founder of CHORD Real Estate. “The best way to understand what you are actually buying is to see it yourself, meet the people behind it, and ask your questions in person. That is what the summit is built around.”
Panama's real estate market varies significantly by zone, and each area visited carries its own characteristics, price points, and considerations. The summit format is designed to give participants the context needed to evaluate which opportunities align with their specific goals, whether that is a second home, a rental property, or a residency-linked purchase. This is particularly important in a market where location-specific factors can dramatically affect investment potential.
Spots are limited and allocated on a first-come basis. Prospective participants are encouraged to reach out early to discuss the program and reserve their place. For more information, visit chordrealestate.com/investpanamasummit or contact CHORD Real Estate directly.
