Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CSE: CTTT) (OTC: CITLF) (FRA: X9V) (“CiTech” or the “Company”) announced Monday that it will enter into a joint venture (JV) to co-develop and commercialize an Arctic-ready version of its Nexus autonomous platform. The JV will be equally owned by CiTech and an unnamed partner, with the goal of adapting the Nexus system for testing and deployment in Arctic and extreme-environment conditions.
Under the proposed agreement, CiTech will contribute a Nexus platform unit and provide engineering support to modify the system for Arctic operations. The JV partners will collaborate to develop new intellectual property, including advancements in Arctic readiness, sensor integration, and scaled deployment. A facility in British Columbia will support integration and Arctic testing.
The Arctic Nexus platform is designed to support communications, monitoring, and operations in remote environments, including northern defense and industrial applications. The joint venture targets the growing market for Arctic defense, surveillance, and communications infrastructure, driven by increasing strategic activity across northern regions. This follows Canada’s recent announcement of a $32 billion plan for far north defense upgrades, as reported by the National Post.

The Nexus platform is a self-deploying autonomous mobile communications and security system. The JV will seek to identify customers and partners for the Arctic Nexus across North America within defense and commercial industries.
