Datavault AI Closes NYIAX Acquisition, Bolstering Blockchain Settlement and Tokenization Infrastructure

Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT), a provider of AI-driven data monetization and tokenization technologies, has completed its acquisition of NYIAX, Inc., a contract management exchange and operator of a blockchain-enabled marketplace for trading guaranteed contractual assets. The closing, announced today, brings institutional-grade exchange technology, blockchain settlement infrastructure, and a proprietary platform protected by four issued U.S. patents, with a fifth patent application filed.

The acquisition is poised to play a pivotal role in Datavault AI's tokenization pipeline, expanding the company's capabilities from asset origination and AI-driven valuation through tokenization, commercialization, exchange infrastructure, and secondary-market participation. According to the company, the combined infrastructure will support specialized exchanges across emerging asset categories, including the International Elements Exchange (IEE) for tokenized critical minerals and commodities, Project Democracy and the American Political Exchange (APE), athlete NIL marketplaces, healthcare and enterprise data exchanges, and intellectual property and media rights marketplaces.

This strategic move also incorporates Collective Audience's commercialization, audience development, and market activation capabilities into Datavault AI, building on the collaboration that began in March 2025. The integration of NYIAX's technology is expected to enhance Datavault AI's ability to offer end-to-end solutions for asset tokenization, from valuation to trading, thereby strengthening its position in the Web3 ecosystem.

Datavault AI's platform leverages Web3 and high-performance computing to provide solutions for experiential data perception, valuation, and secure monetization. The company's Acoustic Sciences division features patented technologies such as WiSA, ADIO, and Sumerian, focusing on spatial and multichannel wireless audio. The Data Sciences division offers the Information Data Exchange, enabling digital twins and licensing of name, image, and likeness by securely attaching physical real-world objects to immutable metadata.

The acquisition of NYIAX is a significant step for Datavault AI as it seeks to capitalize on the growing market for tokenized real-world assets. By integrating exchange and settlement infrastructure, the company aims to provide a comprehensive platform for various asset classes, potentially increasing liquidity and accessibility for investors. This move aligns with broader industry trends toward digitization and tokenization of traditional assets, which could reshape how commodities, intellectual property, and other assets are traded.
