DEAG Sets New Records for Revenue and Earnings in Financial Year 2025

DEAG Deutsche Entertainment AG ("DEAG") has announced record financial results for the fiscal year 2025, with revenue rising by approximately 33% to EUR 490.0 million and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) more than doubling to EUR 32.1 million. The company also achieved an all-time high in ticket sales, exceeding 12 million, up from 11 million in the prior year. This performance reflects the successful execution of DEAG's buy-and-build strategy and its focus on profitability, with the EBITDA margin improving from 3.9% to 6.6%.

The strong results were driven by a diverse portfolio of concerts, festivals, and family entertainment events. Notable tours and events included performances by Ed Sheeran, Iron Maiden, and Till Lindemann, whose European tour sold over 190,000 tickets. The company's Christmas Gardens attracted approximately 1.6 million visitors, while festivals such as NATURE ONE and Belladrum Tartan Heart contributed to a robust summer season. DEAG's proprietary ticketing platforms, including myticket.de and gigantic.com, played a key role in driving ticket sales.

DEAG continued its M&A activity, acquiring majority stakes in the ROCKHARZ Festival and increasing ownership in Fane Productions and the UK ticketing platform gigantic.com to 100%. The company also reduced minority interests in successful subsidiaries, strengthening its control over high-growth segments. In the first quarter of 2026, DEAG acquired remaining minority interests in Wizard Live and LiveGeist Entertainment, along with a majority stake in the Juicy Beats music festival.

Looking ahead, DEAG expects ticket sales to remain consistently high in 2026, with approximately 3 million tickets already sold for future events, translating to EUR 151.5 million in secured revenue. However, due to the cyclical nature of the live entertainment industry, group revenue for 2026 is expected to temporarily dip below the 2025 level, though still exceeding EUR 400 million. The company anticipates a further increase in the EBITDA margin, supported by a robust financial structure bolstered by the issuance of a EUR 75 million corporate bond.

"The measures we implemented in the transformation year 2024 to enhance our competitiveness, profitability and efficiency had a clearly positive impact in financial year 2025," said Detlef Kornett, Group CEO of DEAG. "DEAG is therefore very well positioned to sustainably continue its organic and inorganic growth strategy trajectory going forward."
