Debt.com is set to announce the winner of the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator category at the 2026 FinTalk Awards, an honor that recognizes digital creators who make financial education more accessible to the Hispanic community in the United States. The award highlights the growing role of Spanish-language content in helping Hispanics navigate saving, investing, debt management, and financial planning.
The five nominees for the 2026 award are María Mercedes Velasquez, Daniela Salazar (known as NeuroDany), Alex of MoneyAcción, Elizabeth Inciarte, and Xavier Serbia. Each creator brings a unique approach to financial education, from Velasquez's focus on women over 40 to Salazar's expertise in investing and trading, MoneyAcción's humorous style, Inciarte's message that investing is possible without being a millionaire, and Serbia's two decades of experience simplifying complex economic topics.
Public voting for the category remains open through October 9, 2026, with participants allowed up to three votes per day. The winner will be announced on October 9. This initiative matters because it underscores the importance of culturally and linguistically relevant financial information for a community that often faces barriers to clear, trustworthy advice. By celebrating these creators, Debt.com aims to amplify voices that empower Hispanics to make better financial decisions.
"For millions of Hispanics in the United States, having access to clear and trustworthy financial education in Spanish can make a real difference in how they manage their money and build their financial future," said Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com. "We are excited to see a new generation of creators using digital platforms to break down barriers, simplify complex topics, and empower our community to make better financial decisions."
The FinTalk Awards have previously recognized prominent Hispanic financial educators, with Rey Martínez winning in 2025 and Juan Sánchez in 2024. The Spanish-language category is part of Debt.com's broader effort to transform how people learn about and manage their finances.
