Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS is set to launch his 11th annual science scholarship, reaffirming his commitment to supporting students pursuing degrees in science-related fields. The scholarship will award $1,200 to one eligible student to help cover educational expenses. This initiative matters because it provides tangible financial assistance to high school seniors and college undergraduates at a time when the cost of higher education continues to rise, and it encourages students to excel academically and engage in community service.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors through fourth-year undergraduates, aged 16 to 28, who are majoring in a field of science. The application period opens on November 1, 2026, and closes on March 31, 2027. The winner will be announced by September 2027. The award criteria include academic merit, community service, and financial need, ensuring that the recipient is not only academically talented but also demonstrates a commitment to their community and a genuine need for support.
Dr. Kezian expressed his enthusiasm for the program, saying, "I'm so proud of all the applicants that applied to our scholarship. All the students were hard working, dedicated, and deserving of the award; but, like many other programs, there had to be one winner. I want to thank each and every one of the applicants and applaud them for their achievements. I decided to start the scholarship again this year to give another student the chance to win. Rewarding students who have significant individual accomplishments can help them reach their objectives and strive for higher education." His words highlight the broader impact of such scholarships: they not only ease financial burdens but also validate students' efforts and motivate them to pursue ambitious goals.

Dr. Kezian is a Los Angeles cosmetic dentist based in Larchmont Village, Hollywood, where he and his team provide a wide range of dental services, including cosmetic restorations, endodontic treatments, implant dentistry, emergency care, and preventive dentistry. His dedication to dentistry is matched by his commitment to education. By continuing this scholarship for the 11th consecutive year, he demonstrates a sustained investment in the next generation of scientists and healthcare professionals.
The scholarship's focus on science majors is particularly significant, as fields such as healthcare, technology, and research rely on a steady pipeline of talented individuals. By alleviating some of the financial pressure associated with higher education, this scholarship enables students to focus more on their studies and less on financial stress. It also sends a powerful message that their hard work and dedication are valued.
