Eric Sprott Exercises Warrants, Injecting $6M into MAX Power Mining for Natural Hydrogen Development

Eric Sprott, a prominent mining investor, has exercised 12,138,548 warrants in MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N), injecting $6,004,216.22 into the company. The exercise, completed on Aug. 24, 2026, through 2176423 Ontario Ltd., increases Sprott's beneficial ownership to 47,123,527 common shares, approximately 24.35% of MAX Power's 193,505,888 issued and outstanding shares. He retains an additional 16.5 million warrants.

The capital infusion will accelerate MAX Power's commercial validation drill program at the Lawson Complex in Saskatchewan, where the company is delineating its Natural Hydrogen system. This system, confirmed through deep drilling and validated by three independent labs, represents Canada's first subsurface Natural Hydrogen discovery. The funding is pivotal for advancing the project toward potential commercial viability.

CEO Ran Narayanasamy emphasized that the funds will support the company's strategic objectives, particularly the rapid progression of its Natural Hydrogen exploration. The investment from Sprott, a well-known figure in the mining sector, signals strong confidence in MAX Power's technology and market potential.

In a related development, MAX Power announced that President and Director Chad Levesque will present at the Clean Energy & Metals Virtual Investor Conference on Aug. 27, from 1:30-2 p.m. ET. The live event will allow investors to ask questions in real time, with an archived webcast available afterward.

MAX Power is an innovative exploration company focused on the shift to decarbonization. Its Lawson Discovery near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, is a landmark for Natural Hydrogen in Canada. The company has built a dominant land position with approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits across Saskatchewan, targeting large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen. Additionally, MAX Power holds critical mineral properties in the U.S. and Canada, highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in Arizona.

This investment from Eric Sprott not only provides essential funding but also validates the potential of Natural Hydrogen as a clean energy source. As MAX Power advances its drill program, the outcome could have significant implications for the emerging hydrogen economy and the broader transition to sustainable energy.
