The scholarship is open to any currently enrolled undergraduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university who is a cancer survivor, regardless of cancer type or stage of survivorship. Applicants must submit an original essay of 500 to 600 words addressing the prompt: "How has your journey as a cancer survivor shaped your understanding of resilience, and how do you plan to apply that strength to your future professional or community leadership roles?"
D'Agostino, a Senior Managing Director in the financial industry with nearly 30 years of experience, designed the initiative to look beyond standard test scores. "The scholarship focuses on character, perseverance, and future leadership potential," he said. As a school board trustee and long-time youth baseball coach, D'Agostino understands the importance of mentorship and structured support. He aims to help survivors translate personal resilience into future professional success.
Applications must be submitted through the official portal by January 15, 2027. The winner will be announced on February 15, 2027.
