First Choice Window Solutions Expands to Corpus Christi, Introduces European Tilt-and-Turn Windows to Texas

First Choice Window Solutions, a family-owned window and home exterior company based in Bulverde, Texas, is expanding its service area south to Corpus Christi and introducing European tilt-and-turn windows to the Texas market. The move follows strong demand at a recent Corpus Christi home show, where the company was one of only three window companies exhibiting and several homeowners signed on after reporting that larger companies had declined to service their area. The expansion means homeowners from San Antonio through the Coastal Bend now have access to a locally owned alternative that offers both familiar name-brand products and a window style rarely seen in Texas.

The tilt-and-turn windows, manufactured in Poland by Oknoplast, operate with a single handle: they tilt inward at the top for secure ventilation or swing fully open like a door for easy cleaning. Multi-point locking seals the window tightly when closed. Available in aluminum and uPVC vinyl frames with 68 color options, the windows include coastal-grade models suited to Gulf Coast conditions. Oknoplast has described Texas as its hardest market to crack, which leaves the style largely untapped across the state. “These windows change the whole experience of a home, from how they look to how they operate,” said Jonathan Cervantes, co-owner. “It’s the newest and most exciting thing we offer. And if a homeowner isn’t ready for a European window, we carry a full range of other options, including the name brands people already know and trust.”

The company’s local ownership model is central to its pitch. Jonathan grew up working in his father’s construction business, which has built fences, patio covers and concrete work for more than 30 years. He later spent years in window sales for out-of-state companies before wanting to be home more after the birth of the couple’s third child. Gabrielle, who worked in multifamily property management and corporate learning and development, researched the market and could not find a single locally owned and operated window company in San Antonio. She wrote a business plan, designed the brand, and about a year ago left her corporate job to build the company’s back office full-time. As a locally owned business with no fleet of trucks or network of statewide offices, First Choice passes its lower overhead on to homeowners. “We’re not price gouging because we don’t need to,” Jonathan said on a recent episode of The Building Texas Show. “We don’t have 75 trucks in the field or 20 offices across the state. We want people to know they can get a quality, name-brand window at a much lower cost.”

Beyond windows, First Choice installs doors, siding and sunrooms, handling every exterior project below the roofline, with roofing and foundation work handled through its partner, Texas Roof Guardians. The owners also emphasize homeowner education, sharing signs that windows may be costing money: feeling outside temperatures near windows, high energy bills, leaks after heavy rain, indoor humidity, drafts, dust and pollen, and older single-pane aluminum or painted-shut wood windows. They caution that even new construction often ships with builder-grade windows. “I always tell people to start with the exterior to protect the interior,” Jonathan said. “And the best time to replace something is before it fails.” Homeowners from San Antonio to Corpus Christi can schedule an in-home consultation at firstchoicewindowsolutions.com.
