The upcoming release introduces support for CAMARA-standard APIs and expands international carrier connectivity, improving on the Global Exchange platform first introduced in 2025.

The CAMARA-standard APIs, developed under the Linux Foundation's CAMARA project, aim to provide a common framework for network APIs, enabling greater interoperability across different telecom networks. By integrating these APIs, First Orion's Global Exchange will allow businesses to more easily deploy branded calling solutions across multiple carriers and regions, reducing complexity and accelerating time to market.
In 2026, First Orion plans to expand European connectivity through Global Exchange to include Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, as well as additional carriers in Germany and the United Kingdom. This expansion builds on the platform's initial rollout in 2025, which connected major U.S. carriers and select European networks. The move underscores First Orion's commitment to creating a seamless global ecosystem for branded communications, where calls and messages are verified and trusted across borders.
Branded calling has become increasingly important as businesses seek to combat spam and fraud while improving customer engagement. By enabling carriers and enterprises to present verified caller information, the technology helps restore trust in phone communications.
