Foremost Clean Energy Ltd. (NASDAQ: FMST) (CSE: FAT) has received a three-year exploration permit from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment for its Turkey Lake uranium project, authorizing up to 75 drill holes and related fieldwork through Dec. 31, 2028. The permit marks a significant step forward for the company as it prepares to advance exploration along a 10-kilometer conductive corridor that has historically yielded high-grade uranium intercepts from previous operators Cameco and Denison.

Foremost announced that a ground-based gravity survey by MWH Geo Survey will begin in December to refine targets ahead of a planned 2026 drill program. The survey is designed to better define the structural controls and alteration patterns associated with uranium mineralization, building on historical data that includes intercepts such as 0.31% U3O8 over 4.0 meters and 0.27% U3O8 over 7.9 meters. The Turkey Lake project is located in the prolific Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan, which hosts some of the world's highest-grade uranium deposits.

The company holds an option to earn up to a 70% interest in 10 prospective uranium properties (with the exception of Hatchet Lake, where Foremost can earn up to 51%), spanning over 330,000 acres in the Athabasca Basin. The Turkey Lake project is considered one of the company's most advanced exploration assets, with significant historical exploration and drill-ready targets. The new permit allows Foremost to conduct systematic drilling and geophysical surveys over the next three years, aiming to confirm and expand upon previous discoveries.
