Golden Cariboo's Inaugural Resource Estimate Signals Major Gold Discovery at Quesnelle Property

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has released an inaugural independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its 100%-owned Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property in central British Columbia, marking a pivotal moment for the company and the region. Prepared by Sue Bird, P.Eng., of Bird Resource Consulting Corp., the MRE outlines 10 million tonnes at 0.56 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) for 178,000 ounces of indicated gold, plus 71 million tonnes at 0.44 g/t AuEq for 1.0 million ounces of inferred gold. The estimate, with an effective date of September 26, 2026, is based on only 24 of 30 company drill holes totaling less than 8,500 metres, underscoring the efficiency of the discovery.

The resource is confined to the Halo-North Hixon zones, which span a strike length of 1,150 metres and a width of 420 metres, and remain open in all directions. Notably, the Main zone and four other parallel geophysical and geochemical targets with multi-kilometre potential are excluded from the current estimate, highlighting substantial upside for future resource growth. President and CEO Frank Callaghan described the estimate as a tremendous achievement that validates the strength of the Halo discovery, adding that the project's excellent infrastructure—year-round road access, proximity to Hixon and major centres like Prince George and Quesnel, and an existing rail corridor—positions it for efficient advancement.

The MRE was prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 standards, using a base-case cut-off grade of 0.15 g/t AuEq and price assumptions of US$3,600 per ounce of gold and US$40 per ounce of silver. A sensitivity analysis on cut-off grade is provided to illustrate the estimate's robustness. The full technical report will be filed on SEDAR+ within 45 days. For detailed tables, readers can refer to Table 1. Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property at the Base Case cutoff - Effective Date September 26, 2026 and Table 2 is provided to illustrate the sensitivity of the estimate to cut-off grade. The base-case cut-off used for the Mineral Resource Statement is highlighted. Sensitivity cases do not constitute alternative Mineral Resource Statements. A long-section through the deposit is also available for viewing.

This inaugural MRE matters because it transforms Golden Cariboo from a pure exploration play into a company with a defined multi-million-ounce gold resource. The fact that over 1.0 million ounces of inferred gold were outlined from less than 8,500 metres of drilling suggests exceptional grade continuity and a potentially large mineralized system. With the Main zone and additional targets yet to be included, the resource could grow significantly with further drilling. Moreover, the project's location in a historic mining district with existing infrastructure reduces development hurdles and could accelerate any future economic studies. The company has stated it will use the MRE as a foundation for step-out and infill drilling, targeting upgrades of inferred to indicated resources, as well as metallurgical testwork and environmental baseline studies.

However, investors should note the risks. Inferred resources are speculative and may not be converted to reserves. No metallurgical testing has been conducted, and permitting, First Nations consultation, and environmental assessments will be required for any future development. The company has not completed a preliminary economic assessment and has made no production decision. Still, the MRE represents a major de-risking milestone.
