Green Choice Proteins, an Australian plant-based nutrition company, is preparing to enter the United States with a product line that reflects a broader evolution in how consumers approach plant-based eating. Rather than targeting only vegans or vegetarians, the company is positioning its plant proteins as everyday nutrition products for a wide range of consumers who are focused on fitness, general wellness, or simply making more thoughtful food choices.
The shift matters because the plant-based category has increasingly moved beyond meat and dairy alternatives. Consumers are now looking for convenient, protein-rich foods that fit into smoothies, breakfast, baking, and other daily routines. Green Choice Proteins is highlighting this change as it prepares to launch its Australian-made products in the U.S. through OneLavi and Amazon.
"Plant-based nutrition doesn't have to be an all-or-nothing lifestyle choice," said Puneet Chawla, Founder of Green Choice Proteins. "We believe consumers should have access to high-quality plant protein products that fit naturally into their everyday lives, whether they're focused on fitness, general wellness or simply making more thoughtful food choices."
The company's initial U.S. lineup includes three plant-based protein powders. The Chocolate Flavored Protein Powder delivers 35.3 grams of plant protein per serving, uses Australian-grown pea and faba proteins, and features pure cocoa powder, coconut milk powder, and omega-3 from linseed. The Vanilla Flavored Protein Powder offers 34.9 grams of plant protein per serving and is designed for smoothies, oats, and baking with a clean vanilla profile. The Salted Caramel Flavored Protein Powder also provides 34.9 grams of plant protein per serving, combining caramel sweetness with balanced salted notes. All three are made with Australian-grown plant proteins, include omega-3 from linseed, and contain no artificial colours, flavours, or fillers.
"Taste and convenience are just as important as the nutritional profile," Chawla added. "Our goal is to create products that people genuinely enjoy incorporating into their routines. We want plant-based nutrition to feel accessible and practical, not complicated or restrictive."
Manufactured in Victoria, Australia, Green Choice Proteins emphasizes ingredient transparency, responsible sourcing, and clean-label formulations. The family-owned company uses Australian-grown pulses as a foundation and incorporates other carefully selected ingredients. Its focus on everyday plant nutrition comes as it continues its U.S. expansion strategy. Following its participation in September's ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, the company is preparing to introduce its products to American consumers. The upcoming launches represent the initial stages of a broader strategy to establish its Australian-made plant nutrition products in the United States, a move that could resonate with consumers seeking convenient, clean-label protein options beyond traditional meat alternatives.
