HKTDC's Seven Mega Lifestyle and Licensing Events to Showcase Global Innovations and Foster Cross-Industry Synergies

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is set to open seven annual lifestyle and licensing mega events next week, running from April 27 to 30. These include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, Fashion InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Licensing Show, and Asian Licensing Conference. The events will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo, leveraging Hong Kong's unique connectivity between the Chinese mainland and international markets.

The fairs are expected to attract some 5,600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, including first-time participants from Finland, Germany, Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan. New pavilions from Xinjiang, Wuhan, Shanxi, Jilin, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Zhejiang, Fujian Quanzhou, Jiangsu Sheyang, India, and Indonesia will offer buyers diverse sourcing options. The HKTDC continues to encourage sustainable development, with over 820 green exhibitors and approximately 80 exhibitors showcasing innovative materials across houseware, home textiles, fashion, printing, and packaging.

A key highlight is the debut of the Reimagine themed floor at HKCEC Hall 5, which seamlessly connects the Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle. This floor presents a new vision of future lifestyles, featuring zones such as the Selection of ASEAN, The Bespoke Hub, and the Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards. The Cultural and Creative Avenue brings together over 110 exhibitors from more than 10 countries, partnering with Pantone to use the 2026 Colour of the Year "Cloud Dancer" as a theme for home décor settings. The Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion, funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission, showcases over 20 local exhibitors focused on gerontechnology and innovative materials for the homeware market.

Fashion InStyle will feature multiple exhibition zones, including the highlighted NEXT@Fashion InStyle (NEXT) zone, sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA). This year, the Philippines is NEXT's featured partner, with over 25 Philippine exhibitors showcasing local fashion materials. NEXT has also brought together over 60 global exhibitors from Asia and Nordic countries such as Iceland, Finland, and Sweden. Han Chong, founder of Self-Portrait, returns as project ambassador, leading six local designer brands in cross-disciplinary design projects.

The Printing & Packaging Fair introduces smart packaging and innovative materials, with a spotlight on RFID and anti-counterfeiting technologies. DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong focuses on premium printing and packaging for high-end goods. Seminars will cover AI, sustainability, and creative design, with representatives from FUJIFILM and BW Design Centre sharing insights on AI applications.

The Hong Kong International Licensing Show, now in its 23rd edition, brings together over 600 brands and IPs, including Bandai Namco, Doraemon, and LINE FRIENDS. For the first time, a dedicated "IP and e-Commerce Support Services" Zone will help brands expand into e-commerce markets. The Asian Licensing Conference, themed "Connecting Creativity, Unlocking Licensing Power," will explore global licensing trends, the emotional economy, sports licensing, and VTubers.

The events adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format, with AI-driven tools like Click2Match and SmartBot to enhance sourcing efficiency. For more details, visit the HKTDC newsroom at http://mediaroom.hktdc.com/en.
