The 46th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) and the 29th electronicAsia, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and MMI Asia, concluded with over 61,000 buyers from 141 countries and regions. The four-day events reinforced Hong Kong's position as an international trading hub and a key platform connecting global innovation and technology industries with international markets. Buyers came mainly from the Chinese Mainland, India, Japan, and the United States, with notable growth from Kazakhstan and Brazil.
The fairs focused on AI & Robotics, Smart Wellness, and NEXTEntertainment, with dedicated zones for electronic components, display technologies, and manufacturing services. He emphasized that trade fairs are evolving beyond product showcases to become platforms for innovation and cross-sector collaboration. The newly introduced Future Industries Zone and GoGlobal Connect Zone attracted significant interest, particularly from Chinese Mainland enterprises seeking overseas expansion.
A survey of over 1,150 buyers and exhibitors revealed that 96% expect sales to increase or remain stable over the next 12 to 24 months.
