The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) has announced the finalists for the 2026 HPRA ¡BRAVO! Awards, honoring outstanding campaigns and agencies that advance excellence in Hispanic multicultural communications nationwide. Winners will be revealed on Nov. 19, 2026, at the LA River Center and Gardens in Los Angeles, marking HPRA’s return to the city where it was founded more than four decades ago. This year’s theme, “Legacy in Motion,” reflects both that history and its continued evolution through each generation of communicators.
The significance of this announcement extends beyond the recognition of individual campaigns. It underscores the growing influence and sophistication of Hispanic multicultural communications at a time when authentic representation is increasingly vital. The finalists span 11 categories, including Digital or Media Platform PR Program, Film, Music & Entertainment, Healthcare & Nutrition, Influencer Engagement, Integrated Marketing Communications Campaigns, Internal Communications Programs, Lifestyle, New Product/Service Launch, Non-Profit Campaigns, Social Equity, and Sports. This broad range demonstrates how Hispanic audiences are being engaged across industries, communities, and platforms, and how brands and agencies are investing in culturally fluent strategies.
“Legacy is not something we simply inherit or leave behind. It is something we put into motion through the choices we make, the stories we tell and the opportunities we create for others,” said HPRA National President Sonia V. Diaz. “Forty-two years ago, a group of Latino communications professionals came together in Los Angeles because they understood that representation would not happen on its own. As we return to Los Angeles this year, we are honoring what they started while celebrating a new generation that continues to challenge our industry, expand our stories and move us closer to the representation and parity our community deserves.”
The finalist campaigns illustrate the industry’s evolution. Notable entries include Amazon Devices 2025: Bringing the Future of AI-Powered Living to U.S. Hispanic Audiences by Twin Minds Media; Amazon Music Presents “No Me Quiero Ir de Aquí: Una Más” by H+M Communications; and Buchanan’s Whisky Creates First-Ever FIFA World Cup Spirit Collection With Kids of Immigrants by HUNTER. Other finalists range from Mixte Communications’ “Built to Respond: A Farmworker Union Fights to Own Its Story in a Time of Raids” to Microsoft’s Abuela-Approved AI with BODEN Agency, and Telemundo’s “Velvet El Nuevo Imperio.” Campaign of the Year will be awarded to the highest-scoring submission.
Alongside the campaign finalists, ¡BRAVO! will recognize a group of leaders whose careers reflect a continuum of progress. Spanning communications, media, entertainment, and culture, the 2026 honorees have built careers that expand opportunity, challenge traditional paths, and use influence to create space for others. HPRA will announce the individual honorees separately in the coming weeks.
The awards program’s rigorous methodology adds to its credibility. Campaigns launched between January 1, 2025, and March 31, 2026, were eligible. Finalists were selected from the highest-scoring submissions in their categories following evaluation by an independent panel of senior communications professionals from agencies, brands, nonprofit organizations, academia, and other sectors. Each submission was scored by three judges on a 1-5 scale across ten evaluation pillars, including goals and objectives, strategy, resources, originality/creativity, and outcomes.
For those interested in attending, individual tickets and tables are now available for purchase for the Nov. 19 celebration. More information can be found at bravo.hprausa.org. The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) continues to advance the profession through professional development, national scholarships, chapter programming, and industry recognition. As the premier organization for Hispanic public relations professionals in the United States, HPRA’s work highlights the importance of cultural fluency and storytelling in driving the industry forward. The 2026 ¡BRAVO! Awards not only celebrate past achievements but also signal a future where Hispanic voices and perspectives are central to the communications landscape.
