Ideal Group of Companies, Inc. (OTC: IDGR) today announced the completion of its acquisition of the El Quizer Mining Administrative Contract, a fully permitted 675-hectare gold concession in Bolivia's Precambrian Shield. The transaction, located in the Nuflo de Chavez Province, Santa Cruz Department, marks the company's entry into the precious metals sector at a time when gold and platinum group metals (PGMs) are becoming increasingly critical to technology industries.
The El Quizer concession, issued by Bolivia's Autoridad Jurisdiccional Administrativa Minera (AJAM), grants full mining rights for a 30-year term renewable for an additional 30 years. The property is accessible via paved highway and gravel road from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia's largest commercial hub. All required permits, environmental licenses, and mining registrations are current.
Geologically, El Quizer lies within the Bolivian Precambrian Shield, a region the company describes as one of the most underexplored gold-bearing terranes on earth. Despite being geologically larger than Canada's Abitibi Greenstone Belt—which has produced over 170 million ounces of gold—the Bolivian shield has yielded fewer than 10 million ounces, reflecting historical underinvestment. The property is adjacent to the historically producing Puquio Norte Mine, which yielded more than 300,000 ounces of gold from surface saprolite between 1996 and 2001. Recent sampling of newly identified veins within El Quizer returned assay values of 4.98 and 8.61 grams of gold per tonne.
Independent analysis has identified significant mineral resources, including primary oxide stockpiles of approximately 8 million metric tonnes at an average grade of 1.0 g/t gold, representing an estimated 210,000 ounces of contained gold. These stockpiles, left by former operator Compania Minera del Sur, offer a near-term production opportunity with an estimated 12-year mine life at 2,000 tonnes per day. Additionally, sulfide stockpiles contain about 2 million metric tonnes at 0.7 g/t gold with potential for PGMs and base metals, while virgin primary formations are estimated at 10 million metric tonnes at 2.5 g/t gold pending drilling. A new vein discovery measuring 4 meters wide across a 2-kilometer strike length has returned grades between 4.98 and 8.61 g/t gold. Preliminary XRF and cupellation analyses also indicate the presence of platinum group metals, including palladium, iridium, and rhodium, pending formal confirmation.
The acquisition comes amid surging global demand for precious metals. According to the World Gold Council, global gold demand reached 4,740 tonnes in 2022, the highest since 2011, driven by record central bank purchases. Gold's unmatched electrical conductivity makes it irreplaceable in advanced semiconductor packaging, CPU bonding wires, and high-frequency connectors used in AI data centers, where projected capital expenditure exceeds $1 trillion over the next five years. PGMs such as palladium, rhodium, and iridium are essential for hydrogen fuel cells, catalytic converters, and green hydrogen production via proton exchange membrane electrolyzers. Defense and aerospace applications also rely on high-purity gold and PGMs for satellite systems, avionics, and electronic warfare equipment.
Ideal Group is committed to responsible mining practices, with its Bolivian operating entity MetalPro SRL developing a framework that eliminates mercury and cyanide, implements closed-loop water recycling, uses renewable energy, prohibits indiscriminate deforestation, and engages local communities in the Nuflo de Chavez Province.
“The El Quizer acquisition puts us in the right place at the right time,” said Charles Cardona, CEO of Ideal Group. “We hold a permitted, legally contracted, geologically compelling gold asset in a jurisdiction actively seeking responsible foreign investment—at the precise moment when the metals this property contains have become indispensable to AI infrastructure, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing. We intend to be a meaningful part of that supply chain, and to do so in a way that creates lasting value for Bolivia, our shareholders, and the communities where we operate.”
