Bestselling and award-winning author Jody Sharpe has announced that her latest book about angels, New Angel In Town, will be available as a free ebook on September 26 and 27, 2026, at Amazon. This seventh installment in the Mystic Bay series continues Sharpe's exploration of angels living among humans in the fictional California town, blending miracles with everyday challenges. The free promotion provides an opportunity for new readers to discover the series and for fans to delve deeper into the angelic lore that Sharpe has cultivated over years of collecting angel stories.
New Angel In Town centers on Guardian Angel Ron, who descends to live as a human to ensure his charge, Evan, a boy in foster care, finds a forever home. Meanwhile, writer Noah Greenstreet is creating a film about the townsfolk's angel encounters, and Angel Ron must decide whether to remain in the harmonious community. The story intertwines themes of child advocacy, love, and the supernatural, reflecting Sharpe's commitment to highlighting the importance of compassion and goodwill. One Amazon reviewer praised the book as a "masterclass in child advocacy, true love, & angel-ology," noting that it blends emotional depth with a community of compassion. Another reviewer remarked that the angel experiences feel real and remind readers of the transformative power of love.
Sharpe's work extends beyond fiction. She is actively seeking real-life angel stories to potentially include in her YouTube channel and future books. Submissions can be made through her website at https://jodysharpe.com, where she also features a "Tuesdays With The Angels" section. Not all stories are accepted, but those that are may be shared with a wider audience, contributing to a growing collection of miraculous encounters. This initiative underscores Sharpe's belief in the power of angelic experiences to inspire and heal.
In addition to the free ebook, Sharpe has released the audiobook version of her bestselling novel 20 Moon Road, An Angel's Tale, with more audiobooks forthcoming. Her books, including To Catch an Angel, Town Of Angels, and Special Needs Children, The Angels On My Shoulder, are available at online retailers. The print and ebook versions of New Angel In Town can be found at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Jody-Sharpe/author/B00DPL3382?. Sharpe's accolades include winning the 2023 and 2024 National Association of Press Women's Communications Contest awards for fiction, and she was recognized in the "50 Great Writers You Should Be Reading" Book Awards.
The free ebook promotion matters because it makes Sharpe's uplifting messages accessible to a broader audience, especially during a time when many seek comfort and hope. By addressing themes like bullying, foster care, and the presence of angels, Sharpe's stories offer readers a sense of solace and a reminder that love and kindness can prevail. Her ongoing search for angel stories further engages the community, inviting individuals to share their own experiences and become part of a collective narrative that celebrates the extraordinary in the ordinary. As Sharpe continues to expand the Mystic Bay series and related projects, her work reinforces the idea that angels may be closer than we think, and that their influence can inspire real-world change.
