King Global Ventures Advances Arizona Exploration Amid U.S. Mining Workforce Initiatives

As the U.S. government intensifies its focus on rebuilding domestic mining capabilities and securing critical mineral supply chains, King Global Ventures Inc. (CSE: KING) (OTCQB: KGLDF) (FSE: 5LM1) is advancing its exploration activities at the Black Canyon/Silver Cord project near Cleator, Arizona. The company is currently executing a 14,000-foot diamond drill program at the Iron Horse target, designed to test priority geophysical anomalies for potential VMS-style sulphide mineralization within the Lower Spud Mountain Formation.

Recent drilling, geological mapping, and XRF analysis have identified prospective volcanic stratigraphy, hydrothermal alteration, feeder-style geochemical responses, and multiple marker horizons. Wedge drilling from hole IH-26-03 is being utilized to further evaluate the target at depth. The company's previous drilling at Silver Cord, completed in December 2025, intersected high-grade polymetallic veins containing silver, gold, lead, zinc, and antimony, including a 9-foot interval grading 619.6 g/t silver, 1.0 g/t gold, 0.6% lead, 1.05% zinc, and 375 g/t antimony.

This exploration push comes against a backdrop of significant federal support for the mining sector. An Aug. 7, 2026, White House announcement outlined $100 million in funding for 14 U.S. mining schools, part of more than $2 billion in new mining and mining-related investments and more than $180 million in mining school and workforce funding. This policy environment could benefit domestic exploration companies focused on strategic minerals such as antimony, which is critical for defense and technology applications.

The Black Canyon Project comprises 213 contiguous claims covering 4,000 acres, encompassing 15 former operating mines, including the past-producing Howard Copper Mine. Located 100 km north of Phoenix, the project represents an early-stage exploration opportunity targeting copper-gold-silver-zinc VMS mineralization. The region has a rich mining history, including operations at Bagdad, Jerome, and Cleopatra, and is on trend approximately 13 km northwest of Arizona Metals Corp. (T:AMC).

The Howard Copper Mine property, discovered in the early 1920s, saw small-scale production and development focused on high-grade copper. Historical reports indicate the main shaft reached the 900-foot level, but ore was not mined below the 500-foot level. King Global also holds the Mikwam Gold Property in northeastern Ontario, located along the Casa Berardi Deformation Zone that hosts Detour Gold's Burntbush Property.

King Global Ventures is focused on exploring precious and base metals in North America. The company's efforts at Black Canyon and Silver Cord align with the national push to strengthen domestic mining and reduce reliance on foreign sources for critical minerals. As the U.S. invests in mining education and infrastructure, companies like King Global are positioned to contribute to the supply chain for essential materials.
