Lahontan Gold Corp. Targets Nevada Production in 2025 as Santa Fe Project Advances

Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG) (OTCQB: LGCXF) is featured in a new BTV – Business Television video where CEO Kimberly Ann outlines the company's path to production at its flagship Santa Fe gold project in Nevada. Ann stated that Lahontan expects to receive a key mine permit in the first quarter of 2025, enabling construction to begin and potentially achieve initial gold production before the end of the year.

According to the company, the Santa Fe project benefits from Nevada's established mining infrastructure, skilled workforce, and favorable regulatory environment. Ann highlighted projected cash costs of approximately $1,100 to $1,200 per ounce, which she said positions the project favorably amid strong precious metals prices. Additionally, she pointed to silver upside through the company's West Santa Fe asset.

The Santa Fe project, covering 26.4 km², had past production of 359,202 ounces of gold and 702,067 ounces of silver between 1988 and 1995 from open pit mines using heap-leach processing. The project hosts a NI 43-101 compliant Indicated Mineral Resource of 1,539,000 oz Au Eq (48,393,000 tonnes grading 0.92 g/t Au and 7.18 g/t Ag) and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 411,000 oz Au Eq (16,760,000 tonnes grading 0.74 g/t Au and 3.25 g/t Ag), all pit constrained. The company plans to update the Santa Fe Preliminary Economic Assessment and drill test West Santa Fe during 2025.
