LAURION's Latest Assays Highlight Strong Gold and Polymetallic Mineralization at Ishkoday

LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: LME | OTC: LMEFF | FSE: 5YD) has announced assay results from drill holes LBX26-106 and LBX26-107, part of its 2026 Phase 1 diamond drilling program at the 100%-owned Ishkoday Gold and Polymetallic Project in Northwestern Ontario. The results reveal significant gold, silver, copper, and zinc mineralization, reinforcing the project's potential for a large-scale mineral system.

Drill hole LBX26-106 returned multiple high-grade intercepts, including 3.75 metres grading 0.568 g/t gold, 12.40 g/t silver, 0.46% copper, and 1.75% zinc from 278.75 m to 282.50 m. Within this interval, a higher-grade sub-interval of 2.30 metres averaged 0.886 g/t gold, 19.26 g/t silver, 0.73% copper, and 1.64% zinc, and a 0.50-metre section yielded 1.730 g/t gold, 43.20 g/t silver, 1.51% copper, and 3.40% zinc. Additional intercepts include 4.70 metres grading 0.582 g/t gold, 2.53 g/t silver, 0.07% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 172.50 m to 176.50 m, and 2.70 metres grading 0.742 g/t gold, 3.88 g/t silver, 0.10% copper, and 1.58% zinc from 174.50 m to 177.20 m, which includes a 0.50-metre interval of 3.220 g/t gold, 9.70 g/t silver, 0.30% copper, and 6.29% zinc.

Drill hole LBX26-107 also delivered notable results, such as 1.15 metres grading 1.374 g/t gold, 10.10 g/t silver, 0.49% copper, and 2.01% zinc from 239.80 m to 240.95 m, including 0.50 metres of 1.170 g/t gold, 20.10 g/t silver, 1.03% copper, and 3.64% zinc. Another intercept of 2.90 metres returned 0.608 g/t gold, 11.93 g/t silver, 0.34% copper, and 0.93% zinc from 351.40 m to 354.30 m, with a 0.80-metre sub-interval grading 1.975 g/t gold, 39.50 g/t silver, 1.45% copper, and 2.72% zinc.

These results are part of LAURION's systematic approach to advance the A-Zone and McLeod mineralized systems. The 2026 Phase 1 drill program was designed to test depth extensions, tighten drill spacing, and evaluate geophysical targets. LBX26-106 focused on the down-plunge continuation of the A-Zone, while LBX26-107 tested the McLeod horizon and a chargeability anomaly from a 2015 survey.

The importance of these findings lies in their potential to support a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for the Ishkoday Project. LAURION has increased its planned Phase 1 drilling from 3,865 metres to 5,605 metres across 22 drill holes, guided by an independent structural gap analysis by SRK Consulting that identified five priority target areas. This expanded program aims to address gaps in the existing drill database and enhance geological understanding, bringing the project closer to a potential MRE.
