LogicMark Inc. (NASDAQ: LGMK) has announced the rollout of predictive Activity Metrics within its Freedom Alert Max personal emergency response device, marking a shift from reactive emergency response to proactive health crisis prevention. The feature continuously tracks users' daily steps and active time, using AI analytics to establish a personalized baseline and detect deviations that may signal health or behavioral changes. According to a company press release, this technology transforms medical alert systems by enabling earlier intervention, reducing the risk of falls, hospitalizations, and caregiver burnout.
Activity Metrics builds on LogicMark's recently launched Medication Reminders feature, which allows caregivers to send reminders directly to the device. Both are part of the first phase of the company's Predictive Care Village, an interconnected network of devices and data designed to anticipate care needs. The Freedom Alert Max collects motion data through built-in sensors and fall detection, and the AI algorithm learns normal routines over time. If unusual declines or spikes in activity are detected, alerts are sent to caregivers via the Care Village app.

For example, a user whose daily movement slowly decreases over weeks can be flagged for potential pain or weakness before a fall occurs. Similarly, sudden nighttime wandering or shifts in activity patterns may indicate emerging cognitive decline. These insights are also used to build a comprehensive wellness profile via LogicMark's patent-pending Care Village Digital Twin technology, which creates a virtual mirror image of the user to predict future outcomes.
