McEwen Mining Files NI 43-101 Technical Report for Tartan Mine, Confirming 611,600 oz Gold Resource

McEwen Inc. (NYSE: MUX) (TSX: MUX) has announced the filing of an independent National Instrument 43-101 technical report for its Tartan Mine Project in Manitoba. The report, with an effective date of Dec. 31, 2025, supports the previously reported mineral resource estimate of 308,900 ounces of gold in indicated resources and 302,700 ounces in inferred resources, totaling 611,600 ounces. This filing is a key step in advancing the project and provides transparency for investors.

The Tartan Mine is part of McEwen's growing portfolio of gold and silver production assets in the Americas. The company's operations span prolific mineral-rich regions including the Cortez Trend in Nevada, the Timmins district of Ontario, Flin Flon in Manitoba, and the Deseado Massif in Argentina. Additionally, McEwen is reactivating its gold-silver El Gallo Mine in Mexico. The technical report underscores the company's commitment to expanding its gold resource base and optimizing production.

Beyond gold and silver, McEwen holds a 46.3% interest in McEwen Copper, which owns the advanced-stage Los Azules copper project in Argentina. The project is designed to be one of the world's first regenerative copper mines and aims for carbon neutrality by 2038. Feasibility study results were announced in an October 7, 2025 press release, and the implied value of McEwen's ownership interest is approximately US$456 million, or US$7.67 per share, based on the last financing round.

McEwen also recently purchased a 27.3% stake in Paragon Advanced Labs Inc., a public company deploying PhotonAssay units globally. This technology is poised to become the new industry standard for assaying precious and base metals, with Paragon aiming to be a leading service provider.

Chairman and Chief Owner Rob McEwen has personally invested over US$250 million and takes a salary of $1 per year, aligning his interests with shareholders. A recipient of the Order of Canada and member of the Canadian Mining Hall of Fame, McEwen's objective is to build MUX's profitability, share value, and ultimately implement a dividend policy, mirroring his success at Goldcorp Inc.
