McEwen Reports High-Grade Drill Results at Froome Mine, Extending Mineralization by 100 Meters

McEwen Mining Inc. (NYSE: MUX) (TSX: MUX) has reported new high-grade drill results from the Froome Mine at the Fox Complex in Timmins, Ontario, where four drills are now active at Froome West to pursue further expansion. Drilling extended higher-grade gold mineralization by 100 meters vertically, a 45% increase since July 2025, and confirmed that mineralization remains open at depth. Results also expanded gold zones up to 50 meters west and returned strong grades near existing underground infrastructure, supporting potential mine life extension, improved economics, and additional mining flexibility beginning in 2026.

The Froome Mine is part of McEwen's Fox Complex, which includes the Froome and Stock mines. The company is focusing on expanding resources at Froome West, where recent drilling intersected multiple high-grade intercepts. One hole returned 8.9 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 5.5 meters, including 14.2 g/t over 2.0 meters. Another hole intersected 5.4 g/t gold over 6.0 meters, including 10.1 g/t over 2.5 meters. These results are expected to enhance the mine's production profile and extend its operational life.

McEwen provides shareholders with exposure to gold, copper and silver in the Americas through its three mines located in the USA, Canada and Argentina and its large advanced-stage copper development project in Argentina. It also has a gold and silver mine on care and maintenance in Mexico. Its Los Azules copper project aims to become one of the world’s first regenerative copper mines and is committed to carbon neutrality by 2038. McEwen’s shares are publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol “MUX”.
