Meridian Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN), an international developer and operator of online gaming and e-commerce platforms, announced a series of executive and Board appointments as part of a planned succession process aimed at supporting its next phase of disciplined execution and international growth. The new leadership structure includes Zoran Milosevic as Chief Executive Officer, William Scott as Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board, and Michael Prescott as an Independent Director.
Zoran Milosevic, who has led Meridianbet for more than 18 years, will continue as CEO of Meridianbet while taking on the role of CEO of Meridian Holdings. His leadership is expected to bring the same operational discipline that drove Meridianbet's performance to the broader group. William Scott, who served as Interim CEO, will transition to CFO while remaining Chairman, focusing on financial reporting, capital allocation, and investor engagement. Michael Prescott, former General Counsel at GTECH and IGT, joins the Board and will serve on the Audit Committee, strengthening governance and regulatory oversight.
The changes come as Meridian Holdings seeks to build on its strong operating platform and expand across regulated markets. The Board believes the new structure enhances executive accountability and positions the company to execute its long-term strategic objectives. These appointments follow the release of the Company's second-quarter 2026 results.
William Scott, Chairman and incoming CFO, stated: 'Over the past seven months, we have worked to strengthen the operational and financial foundations of the Company and reinforce the balance sheet. This leadership structure change gives Zoran clear accountability for day-to-day execution while I focus on financial stewardship, capital allocation and Board leadership. Michael's appointment adds valuable independent expertise and further strengthens our governance and audit oversight.'
Zoran Milosevic, CEO, commented: 'Meridian has built a strong operating platform over many years. My priority is to build on that foundation, bring the same operating discipline that has driven Meridianbet's performance to the broader Company group, strengthen our position across regulated markets and create long-term value for shareholders. I look forward to working with William, Michael and the entire team as we work to execute the next stage of Meridian's growth.'
The outgoing CFO, Rich Christensen, was thanked for his service and contributions. The new leadership team is expected to drive the company's focus on disciplined execution, governance, and sustainable growth. For more information about Meridian Holdings, visit www.meridian-holdings.com.
