Hull, who spent nearly 20 years in government contracting in Washington, D.C., moved back to Texas about a year ago and decided to pursue her bucket-list career in retail.
Monkee's is a North Carolina-based franchise known for carrying major contemporary designer brands in small, neighborhood storefronts. Hull was impressed by the franchise's collective buying power, which allows individual owners to access major showrooms. Monkee's of Fair Oaks Ranch is the eighth location in Texas and approximately the 67th nationwide. The 1,200-square-foot store offers a curated selection of contemporary designers across various price points, enabling customers to shop for day and evening wear without leaving the Hill Country.
Hull emphasizes that the store is about more than clothing; she aims to help customers feel confident. She notes that many women appreciate guidance in selecting outfits, and she is committed to ensuring every customer leaves feeling their best.
