Morad Shaker Launches Founder-Funded Foundation for American Service Heroes

Philanthropist and entrepreneur Morad Shaker has announced the public launch of the Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes, a Wyoming nonprofit corporation founded and funded entirely by Shaker. Headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Foundation is dedicated to honoring, recognizing, and building future opportunities for America's military, veterans, first responders, public-safety personnel, government service communities, and their families. The Foundation's Employer Identification Number is 42-3934033, and it is active and in good standing as a Wyoming nonprofit corporation. Its official website, https://www.shakerfoundationforamericanserviceheroes.org/, provides access to its legal status, corporate information, and official documents.

The launch marks the culmination of a personal commitment Shaker made more than 20 years ago. Having known and been close to military personnel and first responders, he witnessed their discipline, loyalty, sacrifice, and deep commitment to protecting their communities and country. "This vision stayed with me for more than two decades," Shaker said. "I gave it time, planning, thought, and purpose. Now, in 2026 and 2027, the dream is beginning to become real."

What sets the Shaker Foundation apart is its funding model. It will not solicit or accept donations from individuals, governments, political groups, religious groups, companies, organizations, or foreign entities. Instead, its work will be funded directly through the Founder's own resources and long-term planning. "This is not another nonprofit organization created to ask the public for money," Shaker said. "This Foundation is founder-funded. The plan is to serve—purely, independently, and with dignity."

The Foundation's mission is designed as a long-term, five-generation commitment. Its future programs, recognition pathways, and participation opportunities are intended to include both those actively serving today and those who served years ago and are now retired, discharged, disabled, or rebuilding life after service. The Foundation believes that a person's service does not lose its value simply because time has passed. When Foundation opportunities are formally opened, current and former eligible service heroes will be able to seek consideration through the same structured eligibility framework, subject to verification and program requirements.

The Foundation's eligibility structure identifies a broad range of service communities: military service members (including active-duty, National Guard, Reserve, military academy communities, and retired personnel from all six branches of the U.S. Armed Forces); veterans (including honorably discharged, disabled, combat veterans, retired veterans, and Gold Star Families); federal law enforcement (FBI, DEA, ATF, Secret Service, U.S. Marshals Service, Diplomatic Security Service, and Federal Protective Service); homeland security (CBP, Border Patrol, ICE, Homeland Security Investigations, TSA, USCIS Field Operations, and other DHS communities); intelligence and national security professionals; public safety personnel (state police, highway patrol, sheriffs, local police, corrections officers, and campus police); first responders (firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, search-and-rescue personnel, and rescue teams); emergency services personnel; and families of service heroes (spouses, children, Gold Star families, and surviving dependents).

Future work is expected to include structured pathways related to recognition, family support, education support, emergency assistance, military and veteran support, financial-stability planning, and other initiatives. Specific opportunities, standards, and eligibility requirements will be announced only after the Foundation completes necessary legal, operational, and administrative preparation. The Foundation is deliberately not making promises of automatic benefits, cash assistance, employment, placement, certification, or recognition.

Shaker emphasized the importance of recognizing service across all these groups: "Our country is safer because of people most Americans will never meet. The soldier on duty, the veteran carrying the memory of service, the police officer on the night shift, the firefighter entering danger, the paramedic responding to an emergency, the corrections officer, the sheriff, the Border Patrol agent, the TSA officer, the federal investigator, and the families who stand behind them—we thank you."

The Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes is one of eight nonprofit organizations founded and funded by Morad Shaker. His wider work includes humanitarian, educational, integrity, animal-protection, community, and international service initiatives. He is also leading Shaker Global Poverty Reduction, with its pilot program Operation Bangladesh preparing for its next stage. For more information about Morad Shaker, visit Morad Shaker. The Foundation's website remains under active development, and additional legal documentation, administrative contact channels, and future communications are expected to be added. Eligible service-community members, families, units, agencies, veterans organizations, law-enforcement departments, first-responder organizations, and emergency-service organizations are invited to follow the official website and Facebook page for updates.
