Nevada Organic Phosphate Extends Confirmed Strike Length to Over 3.5 Kilometres at Murdock Mountain

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF; FSE: Z58) reported that drill hole MM26-12 intersected 37.4 metres of the target Meade Peak Member, including oolitic zones characteristic of the Upper Phosphate Zone, according to a recent announcement. The hole, located approximately 200 metres southwest of MM26-11, extends the confirmed strike length of the target zone to more than 3.5 kilometres. The company is awaiting assay results to confirm the true thickness and phosphate content of the Upper Phosphatic Zone.

The extension of the strike length is significant because it suggests the mineralized system is more extensive than previously defined, which could lead to a larger resource estimate and enhance the project's economic potential. CEO Robin Dow said the results represent continued progress in validating the company’s geological model, while director Garry Smith noted improved drilling productivity and completion of MM26-12 without significant complications. The company’s Murdock Mountain project is a junior exploration asset with an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed 6.6 kilometres long in northeast Nevada, and additional applications extend the potential strike to over 30 kilometres. This is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America, situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California.

For investors, the news matters because it demonstrates ongoing exploration success that could de-risk the project and attract further interest. The pending assay results will be critical in confirming the grade and thickness, which are essential for assessing the project's viability. As the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America, Nevada Organic Phosphate is positioned to potentially supply growing demand for organic phosphate fertilizers. The company’s progress at Murdock Mountain could have implications for the domestic supply of phosphate, a key ingredient in fertilizers, amid global supply chain concerns.
