Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. The company announced that individual samples from drill hole MM26-10, a 1.5-kilometre step-out along strike, returned arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead, and other heavy metal concentrations under the Association of American Plant Food Control Officials (AAPFCO) SUIP #25 limits for fertilizer containing 10% P2O5. This interval previously assayed 10.89% P2O5 over 3.60 metres.
The results are crucial for Nevada Organic Phosphate as it seeks to position the Murdock Mountain project to supply the growing organic fertilizer market. The company emphasizes that the consistent low heavy metal content across the Upper Phosphatic Zone supports the feasibility of producing organic-certified phosphate fertilizers, which are subject to stricter contaminant limits than conventional fertilizers.
