The National Hispanic Health Foundation (NHHF) has announced its 2025 Annual Scholarship Galas, set to take place in Los Angeles on November 21 and in Washington, DC on December 3. The events will honor outstanding Hispanic students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, dentistry, public health, pharmacy, and physician assistant fields, recognizing their academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to serving the Hispanic community.
According to the NHHF, Hispanics are the largest ethnic group in the United States but remain significantly underrepresented in the health workforce. This disparity underscores the urgent need for culturally and linguistically competent professionals who can address health disparities and provide equitable care. The foundation's scholarship program directly tackles this challenge by investing in future Hispanic health leaders.
