Crit Team, an independent studio under ChillyRoom Game, has announced that a public multiplayer demo for No Such Place will be available on Steam on June 15, 2026, just before Steam Next Fest. The demo provides access to early progression and supports both solo play and 1–4 player online co-op, with partial progression data carrying over into the full release. It supports English, Japanese, and Chinese languages.
No Such Place is a top-down PvE extraction shooter where players assume the role of agents from the Unknown Research Consortium (U.R.C.), an organization investigating supernatural anomalies erased from history. Players are dispatched into fragmented dimensions to survive hostile environments, gather supplies and intelligence, and extract before time runs out. The game features exploration of abandoned military outposts, research facilities, and other eerie locations, with scavenging for weapons, medicine, and equipment while uncovering ancient relics and classified documents.

A unique weapon customization system allows players to combine parts from different eras and technologies, such as attaching a motorcycle suppressor to an assault rifle or a Victorian brass scope to modern military hardware.
Progression systems include physical attribute and weapon proficiency growth based on player actions, as well as a Safehouse building mechanic where resources recovered from expeditions can be used to upgrade equipment. The game supports 4-player online co-op, encouraging teamwork to cover more ground and maximize extraction success.
