Nordex Group Secures Over 197 MW in New Orders from ENOVA and BMR in Germany

The Nordex Group has secured new orders totaling more than 197 MW from wind energy companies ENOVA and BMR energy solutions for the supply and installation of 30 wind turbines across three German states. The projects, located in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and North Rhine-Westphalia, underscore the continued growth of onshore wind energy in Germany and include long-term Premium Service agreements spanning 20 years.

In Lower Saxony, ENOVA is advancing a 68 MW repowering project in Boldecker Land with ten Nordex N163/6.X turbines. Installation is slated for the fourth quarter of 2027, with commissioning expected in early 2028. Another ENOVA project in Schleswig-Holstein will feature six N149/5.X turbines with a combined capacity of 34.2 MW, with construction starting in early 2028 and commissioning by mid-2028.

Two projects in North Rhine-Westphalia, originally developed by BMR energy solutions, involve 14 turbines. For the Nettetal project, which BMR sold to ENOVA, Nordex will supply five N163/6.X turbines, with construction beginning in October 2027 and commissioning in early 2028. In the Breberen repowering project, ENOVA and BMR collaborate to replace existing turbines with nine N163/6.X units, boosting electricity production. Installation for Breberen starts in October 2027, with commissioning in the second quarter of 2028.

Karsten Bruggemann, Vice President Region Europe of the Nordex Group, highlighted the importance of these orders: “We have built a long-standing and trusting relationship with BMR, which we have successfully developed further through numerous projects. We are therefore all the more pleased to now also implement more joint projects with ENOVA again and to further expand our business relationship. The fact that both partners are relying on our technology and service expertise for these projects is a strong sign of confidence for us.”

Hendrik Böschen, Chief Operations Officer of ENOVA, emphasized the strategic significance: “These projects mark the next milestone in the development of our wind farm portfolio. Together with Nordex and BMR energy solutions, we are bringing demanding projects into implementation in a cooperative, efficient and fast manner. The fact that we are driving several projects of this scale forward in parallel underscores ENOVA’s operational strength and scalability in the German wind energy market.”

ENOVA, a developer, investor, and operator, manages 1 GW in its own portfolio and aims to reach 3 GW by 2030. BMR energy solutions has extensive experience in onshore wind development, particularly in western Germany. The Nordex Group has commissioned over 64 GW of wind power capacity since 1985 and generated consolidated sales of about EUR 7.6 billion in 2025. These orders reinforce the companies' commitment to expanding renewable energy infrastructure in Germany.
