Northern Data AG (ETR:NB2), a provider of AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) solutions, announced that Co-Chief Executive Officer Aroosh Thillainathan has signed an agreement for the termination of his executive service agreement by mutual consent. He has tendered his resignation from the Management Board effective June 17, 2026.
Dr. Tom Oliver Schorling, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, expressed gratitude for Thillainathan's contributions, stating, "We thank Aroosh Thillainathan for his many years of service with the Company and invaluable support in shaping Northern Data Group. Without him, the Company would not have been in a position to embark on this next exciting chapter."
Thillainathan's departure comes at a pivotal time for Northern Data, which operates Taiga Cloud, one of the largest GPU clusters in Europe, and Ardent Data Centers, which has approximately 250MW of power deployed or coming online across ten global data centers by 2027. The company focuses on full-stack AI and HPC solutions, leveraging high-density, liquid-cooled, GPU-based technology.
The leadership change may signal a strategic shift or consolidation as Northern Data continues to scale its infrastructure. The company enjoys access to cutting-edge chips and hardware, positioning it to support innovative companies in technological and societal transformation.
