The data, which met or exceeded predefined benchmarks for safety, lens delivery, and distance visual performance, represent a major de-risking milestone for the company’s core technology.
Group 1 patients entered the study with severe visual impairment, with some presenting uncorrected preoperative acuities as poor as 20/250—levels consistent with legal blindness. Post-implantation outcomes demonstrate significant improvement in everyday vision.
