Ocumetics Technology Corp. (TSXV: OTC; OTCQB: OTCFF; FRA: 2QBO) announced highly encouraging six-month postoperative results from the first group of patients in its first-in-human (FIH) clinical study of the Ocumetics Accommodating Intraocular Lens. The results, released on April 20, 2026, indicate that clinical outcomes exceed expectations, with all patients continuing to experience vision improvements and a strong safety profile.
Patients in Group One entered the study with very poor vision, including one individual considered legally blind. At six months post-surgery, patients demonstrated improved vision and stable visual acuity, alongside a strong safety profile. Anecdotally, all patients reported life-changing results from the lens implantations, including the ability to read, drive, and live independently again.
