Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) has initiated helicopter-borne geophysical surveys and field exploration at its Pinard and Hopkins rare earth element properties in Ontario, the company announced. The program combines magnetic, radiometric and VLF-EM surveys with geological mapping, prospecting and surface sampling to improve geological understanding and identify potential targets for follow-up exploration and drilling.
While the airborne data has not yet been processed or interpreted, Powermax expects to integrate the results with field exploration findings to refine future exploration priorities. The work advances the company's broader rare earth portfolio across Canada and the United States amid growing demand for critical minerals used in electric vehicles, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing and defense technologies.
