Powermax Minerals Completes 2026 Field Program at Cameron REE Project, Advancing Rare Earth Exploration in British Columbia

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has announced the completion of its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The program, conducted in July and August, involved geological mapping, prospecting, and the collection of rock-chip, soil, and stream-sediment samples, along with handheld radiometric screening across priority target areas. In total, the company collected 250 samples, comprising 50 rock-chip, 50 soil, and 150 stream-sediment samples, which have been submitted to AGAT Laboratories in Calgary for analysis.

The primary objective of the program was to expand geological and geochemical coverage of areas identified through previous sampling, mapped pegmatites, geological contacts, and drainage catchments. By integrating the upcoming laboratory results with the field data, Powermax aims to refine and rank targets for potential additional surface work, trenching, or future drill evaluation. This systematic approach is crucial for advancing the project toward a potential resource definition stage.

The completion of this field program underscores the growing importance of rare earth elements in the global transition to clean energy and advanced technologies. REEs are essential components in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and various electronics, and securing domestic sources has become a strategic priority for many countries. The Cameron project, with its favorable location in British Columbia, could contribute to reducing North America's reliance on foreign REE supplies.

Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. In addition to the Cameron property, which comprises three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares, the company holds options on the Atikokan REE Property in NW Ontario (455 unpatented mining claims), the Pinard REE Property in Northern Ontario (5,178 hectares), and a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Wyoming. This portfolio of prospective properties positions Powermax as a notable player in the REE exploration space.

The company's commitment to systematic exploration and data-driven target generation is expected to yield valuable insights once the assay results are received and interpreted. Investors and industry observers will be watching closely for the outcomes, as positive results could significantly enhance the project's value and attract further interest in the company's shares. The findings will also contribute to the broader understanding of REE mineralization in the region, potentially opening up new opportunities for exploration in British Columbia.
