PROXHAUS Launches in Miami to Turn Proximity into Opportunity

PROXHAUS, a new community platform focused on connecting people, ideas, businesses, and experiences, officially launched in Miami following a kickoff event at Claudie in Brickell on September 23. The event drew approximately 50 members, including Mark Burns, Executive Director of the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District; Joe Hornstein, VP of Philanthropy at Goodwill South Florida; Edith Vargas, Founder of Keeping Your Book; and Pamela Silva, an Emmy Award-winning journalist. The launch signals a growing demand for structured, relationship-driven networking that goes beyond casual meetups.

Founded by Silvana Massolo, PROXHAUS operates on the belief that proximity creates possibility. "The name PROXHAUS reflects our belief that proximity creates possibility — that bringing the right people, ideas, businesses, and experiences closer together can lead to impactful change," Massolo said. "Through experiences like The Room and The Table, along with the causes we support and the relationships we build, we're creating a community that shows up together, moves with intention, and creates opportunities that extend far beyond any single event." This philosophy positions the organization as a response to the fragmented nature of modern networking, where digital connections often lack depth.

Membership is structured to accommodate different levels of engagement. A free community membership provides access to news, events, exclusive discounts, and community updates. Paid memberships range from $195 to $3,500 annually, offering expanded visibility, connections, and access. These tiers are designed for young professionals, civic and nonprofit leaders, individuals, businesses, and corporate partners, and can include member spotlights, social and website exposure, advance event access, founder-facilitated introductions, member pricing for experiences, email marketing opportunities, and brand activations. The tiered model matters because it creates a clear pathway for members to scale their involvement as their needs evolve.

Massolo, an award-winning brand strategist and entrepreneur, also serves as Co-Founder and CMO of Revolve Group, a marketing and public relations firm. She has led marketing strategy for more than 30 brands, including Fortune 500 companies, and is a Florida International University School of Communication Alumni Hall of Fame inductee. Her experience informs PROXHAUS's approach to building a community that is both intentional and scalable. "I understand the power of proximity and how it can help forge relationships and opportunities that people may not otherwise encounter on their own," Massolo said. "PROXHAUS is the community I wish I had when I was 25, at scale."

The organization is also developing strategic partnerships with brands, businesses, organizations, and community leaders to create new avenues for collaboration, visibility, engagement, and experiences. As it grows, PROXHAUS is exploring expansion into additional markets through partnerships with trusted local leaders who share its vision for building connected, relationship-driven communities. This expansion ambition suggests the model could be replicated in other cities, potentially reshaping how professional communities are built. For more information, visit www.proxhaus.com.
