Quantum Confirms Bonanza-Grade Silver up to 308 oz/t at Babine South, Highlighting Strategic Metal Potential

Quantum Critical Metals Corp. (TSX.V:LEAP | OTCQB:ATOXF | FSE:86A1) has announced high-grade silver results from surface sampling at its Babine South property in British Columbia, with independent re-assays confirming bonanza-grade silver up to 308 oz/t (9,580 gpt) Ag. The results, which include assays from both 2024 and 2025 field programs, highlight the exceptional silver potential of the project and its importance as a strategic metal in the current market environment.

CEO Marcy Kiesman commented, "These results confirm the exceptional silver potential of the Babine South project, underscoring both the exploration upside and the broader scale opportunity. Silver has moved firmly into the global spotlight as demand accelerates across AI and quantum computing, the defense sector, and the build-out of modern power infrastructure. Record-high silver prices further highlight its importance as a strategic metal."

The 2025 surface rock sampling program returned silver values ranging from 10.9 ppm to 1,150 ppm (0.35 to 36.97 oz/t Ag), accompanied by anomalous base metals including zinc up to 13,500 ppm (1.35%) and lead up to 3,710 ppm (0.37%). These results confirm the polymetallic nature of the system, which includes silver, zinc, and lead credits.

To re-confirm high-grade results from 2024, four representative samples were re-assayed at a second independent laboratory, SGS Canada Minerals in Lakefield, using the SGS Method GC_FAG32V (30 g Fire Assay for Silver). The re-assays confirmed silver values ranging from 212.84 to 308.00 oz/t, with one sample labeled as "tailings" representing discarded material from historical mining activity. The laboratory operates in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.

The confirmation of bonanza-grade silver by an independent laboratory is a key milestone for the project, which is located in a top-tier Canadian mining jurisdiction. The United States added silver to its critical metal list in 2025, further emphasizing its strategic importance amid a global supply deficit.

Planned next steps on the Babine South property include expanded geological mapping, targeted surface sampling, and an induced polarization (IP) survey. These programs are expected to refine existing geophysical and geochemical anomalies and help further delineate priority drill targets for the 2026 exploration season.

The Babine South property covers four mineral claims totaling approximately 1,070 hectares. The geology includes phyllite, marble, and dioritic and monzonitic volcanic and igneous rocks, with four phases of cross-cutting veining. Mineralization includes quartz-carbonate veins containing native silver, galena, sphalerite, tetrahedrite, argentite, and chalcopyrite. The deposit is thought to be epithermal, with some historical association of veining with foliation and shear zones.

Melanie Mackay, PGeo, a director and qualified person for Quantum, has approved the technical content of this news release. The company also announced the grant of 4,000,000 incentive stock options to directors and consultants at an exercise price of $0.10 for a period of five years.
