SevensCutAbove, a new barber shop owned and operated by licensed barber Seven Nelson, is now accepting appointments at the Salon and Spa Galleria Fort Worth Highway in Weatherford, Texas. Nelson, a graduate of Weatherford College's Barber Program, has spent two years in the industry and brings a passion for providing sharp, detailed cuts in a relaxing environment.
Nelson, who grew up watching his mother work as a hairstylist, decided to open his own shop to offer a personalized experience. "I take my time with each client, to make certain that I execute the image they had in mind, along with providing laidback, chill vibes," Nelson said. Services include detailed fades, low drops, tapers, hot-lather shaves, and beard shape-ups.
A key offering is sensory-safe cuts, designed for clients with sensory issues due to special needs or haircut trauma. Nelson adapts the environment with softer lighting, quieter spaces, and flexible pacing, using scissors instead of clippers if needed. "As a sensory-safe barber, I've learned how to work with kids in the spectrum," Nelson said. "My goal is to create trust, not trauma."
To celebrate the grand opening, Nelson is offering new clients a five-dollar discount on the third haircut and a ten-dollar discount on the sixth cut. Appointments can be booked through Nelson's booking site.
SevensCutAbove is located at the Salon and Spa Galleria Fort Worth Highway, serving Weatherford, Hudson Oaks, Willow Park, Brock, Aledo, Walsh Ranch, and Mineral Wells.
