TES Inaugurates $24 Million Rayong Smart Manufacturing Base to Strengthen Global Supply Chain Resilience

TES (SZSE: 003019.SZ), a leading provider of touch display solutions, has officially inaugurated and put into operation Phase I of its manufacturing base in Rayong Province, Thailand. The ceremony, attended by Chairman Kevin Lee, local government officials, and supply chain partners, marks a significant expansion of the company's manufacturing footprint in Southeast Asia and signals a new stage in its global strategic layout. With an initial investment of US$24 million, the Rayong plant is TES's largest single manufacturing base in Southeast Asia to date, covering 42,399 m² of land with 26,630 m² of building area and room for future expansion.

The commissioning of the Rayong plant represents the full implementation of TES's global 'Dual-Core Smart Manufacturing' strategy, which leverages dual manufacturing bases in China and Thailand to provide higher supply chain resilience and more flexible delivery capabilities. Chairman Kevin Lee stated that the plant is expected to generate tens of millions of US dollars in production value for the local economy, producing interactive smart displays, interactive all-in-one PCs, and smart automotive displays. This dual-base approach is designed to help global customers mitigate trade risks, capture market opportunities, and achieve long-term, mutually beneficial prosperity.

For global OEM and ODM partners, the Rayong plant offers multiple strategic advantages. Situated in Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), the facility is approximately 1.5 hours from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 1 hour from Laem Chabang Deep Sea Port, enhancing international trade and logistics efficiency. The plant has received Investment Promotion Privileges (BOI) certification from the Thai government and is located in the WHA Industrial Zone, providing top-tier infrastructure. By offering flexible options for country of origin, TES assists clients in adapting to changing global trade environments, optimizing tariff structures, and mitigating single-region trade risks. Through cross-regional multi-base synergy, TES establishes a capacity redundancy framework to buffer against regional supply chain fluctuations and guarantee order delivery stability.

The Rayong plant adopts a phased plan of 'Initial Phase Commissioning, Subsequent Expansion.' Phase I includes completed production facilities, administrative offices, and employee living support facilities, with a current workforce of approximately 300 employees. Monthly planned capacity includes 65,000 units of 7–55" touch monitors and all-in-one PCs, 300,000 units of SMT-related products, 120,000 sets of automotive touch display modules, 120,000 units of automotive optical bonding products, and 30,000 units from automotive assembly lines. Moving forward, the plant plans to add one additional assembly line and two bonding lines to meet the stable delivery requirements of medium-to-large batch OEM and ODM orders. The company will systematically execute the full migration and integration of its Chonburi and Rayong operations in phases.

Upholding its mission of 'Combining Humanity and Technology to Serve the World,' the Rayong plant has fully implemented TES's globally unified quality management system, enforcing standardized control from supplier management to final outgoing inspection to ensure consistent high-quality standards across all global products. The official operation of the Rayong plant represents a key milestone in TES's globalization journey, as the company continues to cultivate the Southeast Asian industrial ecosystem and optimize its global manufacturing layout.
