After piloting with 10 locations in July 2024, the initiative now operates in over 70 locations across the U.S., excluding certain Las Vegas Valley locations, cloud kitchens, and food trucks.
Since partnering, guests have helped provide more than 20,000 meals to families facing food insecurity by simply taking a photo on the GiftAMeal platform. For each photo, GiftAMeal donates to a trusted local food bank, delivering 1.2 lbs. of groceries through neighborhood pantries. This Random Acts of Kindness Day (February 17), the restaurant is inviting guests to participate. At the end of February, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill will match the monetary value of the total number of meals donated. To participate, guests scan the GiftAMeal QR code inside the restaurant, take a photo of their food or drink, and optionally share on social media to multiply the impact.
